Barry M - Blood Orange

Whoops! I've been running around so much that I forgot about one of the Gellies! Technically this is my mum's though, lol, so I don't technically own it.  But I totally do. Plus, I felt it was the right time for a darker colour as we're going into Autumn now.

Barry M "Blood Orange" is a blue-leaning red, glossy creme polish.

3 Coats Barry M "Blood Orange"

I have only ever encountered one red polish that is opaque. "Blood Orange" and every other red I've had on my keratin nubs are almost sheer. They have to be layered to stop the white line showing, and can't be used over other colours if nail art is happenin'. A white undie would work but who has time for that? Not this girl. "Blood Orange" is a lush shade of red regardless, the sheerness just irks me.

All Gelly polishes have a beautifully glossy finish, and a good formula. The formula is thin, so it dries quite fast, and self-levels perfectly. Unlike the other Gellies, "Blood Orange" doesn't have issues with thicker patches not drying properly. The thinness probably contributes to that stupid sheerness too. Gellies also do not last very long at all. It's sad because they're so beautiful, but for me they'll often be chipped by the end of the day.

Okay, now the Gellies are all done! Then again, I could buy more any day now...
