Barry M - Bikini

No blog yesterday, life is getting a bit busy with potential jobs and whatnot *crying forever. Anyway, this photo was taken before I went traveling, so I wanted a real summer vibe. My friends bought two others from the Coconut Infusion collection, I forget their names. "Bikini" is the colour I was most in love with, plus it matched a detail in my cute new T-shirt! [From Primark.]

The Coconut Infusion polishes are, obviously, full of coconut oil goodness. I really love beautiful polishes that are full of health benefits, because I'm lazy and like things that combine health and beauty. 

This is where the problem with "Bikini" lies, though. Because it has oils in it, it doesn't dry quickly at all. The consistency isn't great either, bordering on thick which makes it hard to apply evenly. All in all, there is a tense waiting period of flapping your hands around to make sure your "Bikini" doesn't come off.

Despite this, "Bikini" is a little beauty. The colour isn't too pale and a perfect contrast to skin tone, pale or otherwise, to make it stand out boldly. It's a great Summer or Spring but could be worn any time of year really. The finish is super glossy too (probably those oils). 

At some point, I'll definitely be getting some more of this collection soon, before it's not summer anymore.
