I watch trends come and go, with most being swallowed by the chasm of time. Those that go, do so for a reason most of the time, but sometimes I miss and cling to old fads because they're a screenshot of a time gone by that I loved.
And other times I like to revisit things to remind myself how much they suck.
Barry M "Black Crackle Glaze" is self explanatory.

Barry M "Black Crackle Glaze" over "Matte White";
"White Crackle Glaze" over "Black".
Oh fads, fads, fads. To be honest, I think Crackle Glaze is pretty cool in terms of science and for creating a stylishly worn-down look, particularly the black. To those who love this look, go you! I do not. My nails are tiny as is and the crackle effect makes them look tinier somehow. I also hate applying Crackle Glaze because of how super fast drying it is, and how uneven it can be when it goes clumpy. Then again, it goes its job and I can't fault it for that.

Barry M "White Crackle Glaze" is also self explanatory.
This has the same issues as the black, except it doesn't make my nails look as microscopic but also the shabby chic look isn't as effective. As a paler colour, it does go on more sheer than the black, which is pretty clear in the picture. It looks cute with paler colours, but... Yeah, it's crackle.

As a side note, I will not be reviewing some of my older polishes (including the black and white used here), because they're so old that the formula has changed.
